At least the goal that carried the day lived up to Brazilian traditions as Kaka found space on the edge of the penalty area to shrug off the threat from three hovering defenders before caressing the ball high into the net. I thank God, the coach and most of all my team-mates for making this victory possible. But more important than this award is the win for the team which keeps us nicely in the running. This is one of the most emotional days of my career, and what better way to round it off than with two goals. Iran are a great team. They battled and never gave up. The atmosphere in the stadium was fantastic.
