England and Arsenal Ladies defender Faye White could miss most of the season after rupturing her anterior cruciate ligaments in a friendly.
White was injured in the Gunners' game at Bristol City on 16 July.
"I'm extremely disappointed to be out of training with this injury," the 28-year-old said.
"I have an appointment with a surgeon early next month and we'll have to take it from there, but I know I'll be out for a while."
